Refund & Cancellation Policy

CopyTec Returns, Refunds, and Reprint Policy

CopyTec reserves the right to update or modify this Returns, Refund, and Reprint Policy at any time without prior notice to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or customer feedback. When updates are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy will be revised accordingly. By placing an order with CopyTec, you agree to the most current version of this policy. We recommend reviewing this page regularly.

We guarantee that all printed products meet industry-standard quality guidelines. If you experience an issue with your print order, our Customer Service team is available to assist you and help resolve general printing concerns.


Reporting a Defective Print Order

If you believe your print order is defective or does not meet your expectations, please follow these steps:

  • Submit your claim in writing via email within six (6) business days of receiving your order. Claims submitted after this timeframe will be considered accepted as satisfactory and will not qualify for a refund or reprint.

  • After your request is received, CopyTec will review the issue within five (5) business days to determine eligibility for a reprint or refund. Additional information may be requested to complete the review process.

  • If the product is confirmed defective, CopyTec will initiate a rush reprint. If the issue cannot be resolved through reprinting, a refund for the original order price will be issued.

  • CopyTec may request samples of the affected product before approving any resolution.

A Customer Service representative will typically contact you within 24–48 hours after a decision has been made. If you do not respond within five (5) business days, the case will be considered closed and no refund or reprint will be issued.


Return Process for Approved Claims

Once a resolution has been approved:

  • The full original order must be returned to CopyTec within fifteen (15) calendar days unless otherwise stated.

  • Return shipping labels may be issued on a case-by-case basis. Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Failure to return the original order within the required timeframe may result in the original charge being applied to your payment method.

Reprints will begin rush production within one (1) business day of receiving the returned product. Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within ten (10) business days after receipt of the returned order.


CopyTec Responsibility Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CopyTec is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss resulting from any print order or service.


Non-Refundable and Non-Reprintable Situations

Refunds and reprints will not be issued for the following situations:

  • Orders refused at delivery or undeliverable shipments

  • Incorrect shipping addresses provided by customers

  • Production or shipping delays caused by inaccurate customer information

  • Carrier delays, weather conditions, natural disasters, or events beyond CopyTec’s control

  • Color shifts caused by RGB or Pantone file submissions converted to CMYK

  • Errors within customer-submitted artwork files (typos, formatting issues, bleeds, low resolution, incorrect sizing, missing folds, etc.)

  • Low-resolution artwork below 300 DPI

  • Minor color variations or ink density differences

  • Products not designed for writing or printing on coated surfaces

  • Duplicate orders submitted by customers

  • Orders canceled after production has started

  • Time-sensitive materials arriving after their intended use date

  • Violations of CopyTec website terms and conditions

  • Malware or file corruption not detected during standard screening

  • Data loss or technical issues beyond CopyTec’s control

  • Shipments released by carriers without signature confirmation

CopyTec does not modify customer-submitted files. Customers are responsible for verifying artwork accuracy prior to submission.
